Overview
The Africa Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG) is an intergovernmental organization and continental specialized agency established by African Governments to advance cooperation, strategic coordination and value-led development of Africa’s critical minerals sector.
CONTINENTAL INSTITUTION
A Continental Platform for Africa’s Mineral Future
Established by African Governments on 9 January 2024 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Africa Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG) advances continental cooperation, strategic coordination and value-led development across Africa’s mineral ecosystem.
AMSG serves as a platform for African states, strategic partners and the private sector to coordinate policies, mobilize investment, strengthen responsible mineral development and position Africa at the centre of the global energy, digital and defence future.
