The Africa Minerals Forum (AMF) is AMSG’s flagship continent-led global minerals platform, established by unanimous resolution of the First AMSG General Assembly to bring the world to Africa annually. Annually hosted by a rotating African Member State, AMF advances minerals diplomacy, strategic investment, value-chain transformation, responsible sourcing and Africa’s leadership in the global energy, digital and defence future.

The Africa Minerals Forum is Africa’s premier intergovernmental platform for minerals diplomacy, strategic investment, value-chain transformation and responsible sourcing.

Established by unanimous resolution of the AMSG General Assembly on 15 January 2026, AMF is designed to position Africa at the centre of the mineral systems powering clean energy, digital infrastructure, advanced manufacturing and defence supply chains.

Hosted annually by a rotating African Member State, the Forum brings together governments, industry leaders, investors, innovators, development partners and strategic institutions to shape Africa’s minerals future.
