AMSG Advances the MADE Framework at the AFNIS 2026 Ministerial & CEO Roundtable
Government Ministers, Chief Executive Officers, development partners and industry leaders convened at the Africa Minerals Strategy Group Ministerial & CEO Roundtable during AFNIS 2026 to advance a shared vision for Africa’s mineral future. The Roundtable featured the introduction of the MADE Framework as a strategic roadmap for strengthening cooperation, investment, industrialisation and value creation across Africa’s mineral sector.
The Roundtable brought together African governments, industry leaders and strategic partners to strengthen collaboration, accelerate mineral value addition and explore practical pathways for transforming Africa’s mineral resources into long-term prosperity.

Convened on the sidelines of AFNIS 2026, the Ministerial & CEO Roundtable provided a high-level platform for dialogue between governments, investors, development finance institutions, geological organisations and private sector leaders.

Discussions also highlighted the need to increase African participation in mineral processing, manufacturing, trading and downstream industries while strengthening transparency, sustainability and responsible governance.
