African Mining Week 2026 & Ministerial Forum

The Secretary-General will participate in the Opening Ministerial Forum of African Mining Week 2026, joining Ministers, regulators, investors and mining executives from across Africa and beyond.
The Forum will provide a platform for discussing exploration, financing, responsible mining, value addition and strategic partnerships to accelerate Africa’s mineral development agenda.
The Secretary-General is expected to contribute to discussions on Africa’s critical minerals future and continental cooperation.
