Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026

The Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026 will take place from 19–21 November 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania.
Held under the theme “Value-Added Minerals: The Engine of Industrialization and Economic Growth,” the conference will bring together government leaders, policymakers, mining companies, investors, development finance institutions, technology providers and industry experts to discuss the future of Tanzania’s mining sector and its contribution to national and continental development.
The conference will highlight Tanzania’s efforts to promote mineral beneficiation, local value addition, industrialization and responsible investment while strengthening the country’s position as a leading mining and investment destination in Africa.
Participants will engage in high-level policy dialogues, technical sessions, investment forums and business-to-business engagements focused on unlocking opportunities across the mining value chain, fostering strategic partnerships and accelerating sustainable economic growth through the responsible development of mineral resources.
TMIC 2026 will provide a platform for showcasing investment opportunities, technological innovation and policy reforms aimed at enhancing value addition, job creation, industrial development and regional competitiveness within Africa’s critical minerals ecosystem.
The Africa Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG) welcomes the conference’s focus on mineral value addition and industrialization, which closely aligns with the Organisation’s continental agenda of promoting beneficiation, local processing and greater value retention from Africa’s mineral wealth.
