5th Africa Natural Resources and Investment Summit (AFNIS 2026)

The Secretary-General will participate in the 5th African Natural Resources and Energy Investment Summit (AFNIS 2026), Africa’s premier multi-sectoral platform for advancing policy innovation, investment mobilization and value creation across the mining, energy, infrastructure and finance sectors.
Held under the theme: “One Africa, One Resource Vision: Forging a Continental Alliance for Sustainable Development”, the Summit will convene Heads of State, Ministers, investors, development finance institutions, industry leaders and strategic partners to explore opportunities for accelerating Africa’s industrialization and sustainable economic transformation.
The Summit will provide a high-level platform for advancing dialogue on mineral value addition, energy security, infrastructure development, investment promotion and continental cooperation in support of Africa’s long-term prosperity.
