Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, at the State House in Lilongwe. The meeting focused on advancing the AMSG mission, strengthening continental cooperation on mineral development, and securing Malawi’s support for the ratification and implementation of the AMSG Charter.

    On 17 July 2024, the Secretary-General of the Africa Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG), H.E. Moses Micheal Engadu, met with H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at the State House in Abuja. The meeting focused on strengthening Africa’s collective approach to mineral development, advancing ratification of the AMSG Charter, and reinforcing continental cooperation to ensure Africa derives greater value from its vast mineral resources.
