AMSG Establishment Resolution Ratification and Charter Signing Ceremony

African Ministers of Minerals and Mining from AMSG founding Member Nations signed and ratified the resolution establishing the Africa Minerals Strategy Group on 5 February 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa, on the sidelines of the 30th edition of Mining Indaba.
The signing and ratification ceremony formalized the governance structures of AMSG, including the Ministerial Steering Committee, Technical Committee, Secretariat and Advisory Committee, and approved the founding Secretary-General and Head of the AMSG Secretariat for an initial period of two years.
